The New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) has cracked down on a top 5-star hotel for operating their business, without a valid Trade License. Earlier the 5-star hotel had applied for a trade License renewal, which was rejected by the authorities owing to an unauthorised construction in the licensed premises and expiry of lease deed. While rejecting the application the Authority had directed the closure of all licensable trade activities, however the hotel did not comply with the same and continued to operate.

In the new show-cause notice the NDMC has directed the Hotel authorities to explain why the premises should not be sealed within 7 days, as per section 333 of the NDMC Act, 1994.
